Brian Solis, of PR 2.0 and Bub.blicio.us, presentation on “Conversational PR for Start-ups” was well received by all. Much of the information that he covered is included in his eBook, “The Essential Guide to Social Media“. Further information can be found in his article titled “PR Tips for Startups – Director’s Cut“.

During the event, I tried to Twitter some quick highlights and points from his presentation which can be tracked via Twitter hashtags (#startupsf) here. (By the way, it’s HelpaReporter.com which is fantastic!)

Also on hand were several demo companies:

Our innovative technology combines wine reviews and ratings from print, online, and broadcast wine critics into one score. Get all of the information you need to make an informed purchasing decision with just one click. If the Nirvino Rating says a wine is great, look no further!”

Inveneohttp://www.inveneo.org – “Inveneo is a non-profit social enterprise whose mission is to get the tools of ICT into the hands of organizations and people who need them most: those in remote and rural communities in the developing world.”
